From this form, you will have access to information concerning the distribution of Observations numbers received for a period you have to specify concerning either specific VOS or all VOS from a country or a programm ( E-SURFMAR, EUMETNET ...) . The information is presented through distribution graphs, one graph presents the distribution of Observations numbers by month, if the period choosen covers several years, an other graph presents the distribution of Observations numbers by year is produced . Also there is a detailed table containing additional information about the observations performed during period. To use this form, follow the procedure below :

1. You exactly know ever the Call Sign or the WMO of the VOS : in this case fill in the 'Enter call sign of a ship' field, select the period you want to analyse filling the fields 'From the begining' and 'To the end' , confirm with the 'OK' button, you will be have access to the distribution of observations numbers received for the VOS on the considered period.
2. You want to consult distribution of observations numbers for a set of VOS ( from a country, a programm or an area ) : in this case fill in the 'Or choose a country' field, select the period you want to analyse filling the fields 'From the begining' and 'To the end' , confirm with 'OK' button : you will be have access to the distribution of observations numbers received for the VOS on the considered period.

Note, observations are counted based on reports received by Météo-France from the GTS within a reasonable amount of time after observation time (observations that are too old are not counted), and the declaration of ship recruitement in the VOS metadata database.
